Nathaniel J. Branscomb joins Zencos as the Director of Finance, bringing with him a wealth of experience and expertise in financial management, accounting, and operations. With a career spanning over two decades, Nathaniel has proven his ability to drive financial success in both small and global companies.
Before joining Zencos, Nathaniel held the position of Controller at HZO, where he managed the financial statement preparation, external audit, and accounting operations for the private equity-backed startup. His tenure at SELF-HELP CREDIT UNION as Controller involved overseeing accounting for assets exceeding $3 billion, where he built, trained, and mentored an accounting team, leading month-end reporting and analysis processes.
Nathaniel’s career also includes significant roles at Lenovo, where he served as a Credit Program Manager and Global Project Manager, and at the Federal Reserve Board of Governors as a Financial Analyst. His experience extends to auditing with Ernst & Young and KPMG LLP, showcasing his comprehensive understanding of financial reporting, internal controls, and GAAP compliance.
He holds a Master of Science in Accounting from the University of Illinois at Chicago and a Bachelor of Arts in Accounting with a minor in Political Science from Miami University. Nathaniel is also a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and a Chartered Global Management Accountant (CGMA).
