Chris has extensive experience building supervised and unsupervised machine-learning models to help businesses become data-driven and to further enhance their decision-making processes. As part of the Data Science team as Zencos, Chris helps build state of the art analytics solutions for industries ranging from banking to healthcare to online marketing.
Chris has over nine years of experience bringing analytic solutions to the workplace and disseminating his findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. His current professional interest is to use healthcare data to create preventative, holistic health plans for high-risk patients. Chris has written several papers and blog posts combining his personal interests with his enthusiasm for machine learning and predictive modeling. He has also presented at several industry events including SAS Global Forum and Analytics Experience.
Chris holds a bachelor’s degree in Economics and a Master of Science in Analytics from North Carolina State University. In addition, he holds numerous SAS certifications including Predictive Modeler Using SAS Enterprise Miner and Statistical Business Analyst Using SAS 9: Regression and Modeling. Prior to joining Zencos in 2017, Chris worked as an economist for the Idaho Department of Labor where he was responsible for analyzing current economic trends and providing labor market forecasts for the state.
